In April 2016, the county governor of Östergötland, Sweden, Elisabeth Nilsson, presided over the grand inauguration of Meetab’s new kebab production facility in Linköping. In this factory, more than 1,000 tonnes of beef will be processed into kebab spits and ready-made chunks of kebab meat every year. This is not just great news for gourmets in central Sweden, we at Lagafors are also very pleased since we were trusted—after being recommended by our existing customers—with the task of equipping this factory with a complete hygiene solution.
Quality doesn’t happen by chance
Meetab in Linköping manufactures and markets kebab spits and ready-cut kebab meat, and they are very good at it. They deliver their products to wholesalers, restaurants and stores all over central Sweden. Meetab was founded in 1997 and has 20 employees that generate about 50 MSEK in revenue.
After several years of steady growth, Meetab’s owners decided to invest in new production facilities. During the planning phase for their new factory, Meetab’s management visited several industry peers. That is when they first encountered Lagafors’ products.
“When we visited other food-processing plants we got to know Lagafors’ cleaning systems and we were impressed”, says Meetab’s Managing Director, owner and founder Tibet Ukas. He continues:

Construction of Meetab’s new factory was completed in early 2016 and was inaugurated in April—complete with our CCS central cleaning system. Their production lines are up and running and everything is working as expected. For added security, the company has signed a service contract that, among other things, includes a complete review of the system once a year.
